Whatever happened to Mazda's hydrogen program?
I know they were leasing them in Japan and Norway, but then, news about them stopped.

what happened to Honda's FXC Clarity too? Haven't heard anything about either of these in forever
Apparently hydrogen was a dead end?

That was a small scale, experimental thing. It was never supposed to go big.

Honda will only lease a FCX to you if you live in a small area in southern California near a few experimental hydrogen refueling stations. The number of stations was supposed to grow with the number of FCXs, but it was an expensive car that had a range limited by fuel availability. nobody bought the car, so no gas stations wanted hydrogen capabilities. Infrastructure is keeping hydrogen from becoming a thing.

yeah, there were only 50 in the us and cost $600/mo but that included insurance and hydrogen. I think they discontinued the program last year though
