I want a purple car, but I don't want to move to Egypt.
I'll settle for Australia, then. Green and gold FTW.

Bleu de France is one of those weird thing. I never know which exact colour it is, since it's either used to talk about the French racing blue or the Bleu Roi colour. People even use it to talk about modern blue used by national sports team... It'sa big mess... And sometimes it is used for the Alpine blue...
Anyway, have a bunch of blue French cars, in either French racing blue and Alpine blue.
R8 Gordini, yes the camber is factory.
A bunch of Alpine, the blue ones are either replicas or original that run the Monte Carlo rally. You can see the colour difference with the R8 Gordini. The picture was taken in front of the Alpine factory in Dieppe (I did a month of internship there, building Clio RS's).
A Delage D6 sporting a French racing blue livery. I love this colour. Louis Delage (who gave his name to his cars) went to the same school I'm attending.
A Panhard lm64.
A bunch of blue Matra's
And a Clio RS, which has the Cup bodykit.

So what happens when Switzerland, Canada, Poland and Japan are in a race, they are all red and white?

Originally Red was America's racing color.

Nope it was red in the first grand prix, Italy was not represented. Italy then claimed red as their own years later.

What was an example of an Egyptian racecar in full patriotic purple?
Australia seems pretty gangsta :]

That's pretty cool, like jockey racing shirts then.

yeah pretty much. Wish modern international series would still do this, but corporate sponsorship is so important now.

I suppose it would be confusing with many drivers not racing for their own national team.
