$70k for the swap? That seems excessive
Really cool though, I'd swap the wheels back to stock

I so desperately want to iron the front end, just to get rid of the wrinkles.

With a shop doing all the custom/fab work? I could believe it

At the $2k it's bid up to, definitely. I could maybe see $5k, if the conversion appears to be well done underneath. At the $32k Buy it now price, mega-super-crackpipe.

He had to convert it from FWD to RWD
What did he have to do?
Custom fabricate the WHOLE front and rear subframes
Engine cradle
Front and rear suspension
Trans linkage
Trans mounts
Custom Exhaust
Transmission tunnel
Whole floorpan ripped out and redone
F-body Dogbox for trans
Custom intake system
Custom fuel system
Etc. etc
Then you factor in the cost of the donor F-body which in 2005 would probably have been around $15k
It's A LOT of work to do something like this

yeah I guess that's a lot lol

All that work and yet he stuck with the F-body rear? I guess it must have been a space issue?

I liked it until I saw the paintjob and the wheels.

All that work, and it just has a stock LS1 and a 4LslippingE? Why not just buy a Vette or F-body?

Or...you could buy a Camaro SS for the same price and get a factory warranty.
I like sleepers, I just don't like them that much.

I'm pretty sure with an S-10 frame, a wrecked late model GM truck drivetrain, a spare Monte Carlo body, a buddy with welding skills and a few 6-packs, you could replicate this car for 10k.
