It's the weirdest thing to be next to one of these, at at red light, windows down in the Camry, bumpin Macklemicklemore, and when the light turns green it sounds like something broke in the next lane. Not a happy sound, that starter engaging.
Oh, and lady with the Malibu classic from New York? You might want to replace at least ONE MORE brake lamp bulb before you drive all the way back there. Kinda dangerous to only have half of your third brake lamp being the only brake lamp on your scuffed up shitty car.
And to the old man in the Buick who decided that since he was halfway through a left hand turn when the light turned red and just sat there in the middle of the intersection? Yeah, YOU DUMB. BACK UP.

Being next to cars with start/stop is weird period. So quiet at stop lights.

My car has it but I think it's broken. It's only shut off automatically once. Or maybe it doesn't do it if the AC is on?

I think if the AC is on it doesn't turn of car off.

My car has it but it does turn off with the AC on. But, if the fan is at temperature 4 or higher it wont turn off.

I was beginning to think the previous owner had the car reprogrammed to turn it off, until it did shut off the one time. It's probably because I take primarily short trips, combined with not driving it everyday, and the battery being the original. I guess the battery doesn't ever reach the level required for it to happen?

I think you are probably right. The car has to have enough "strength" to keep the auxiliary things on (AC, Radio, lights) so the Start/Stop works. I feel I will break it because Mexican stoplights last about 20 seconds, and cars are ALWAYS moving and inching forwards.

I have it on my 3 series. It works pretty well.

How loud is it inside the car?

My father had it in his M6, it isn't loud but it is a weird experience if you never had it before. My father ended up not really liking it so he got it removed at the dealership. It definitely is a cool system though, it kinda knows what you are thinking before you do.
