I'm very anti-stance, so there's a ton of bias here. And yes, I get that many consider it a passion and a form of Gearhead. But when you modify a car to be non-functional at its sole purpose (to get from point A to point B reliably, obviously in a variety of comfort and speed-related fashions) and make it dangerous both to yourself and those around you...that's just bad planning. Factor in the unruly and Squid-like young fanbase, and you have a very nasty group swarming Ocean City. Let the OCPD continue to do their jobs successfully, and hopefully no one gets hurt.

Yes, thank you! This is exactly the problem with stance, regardless of whether it is a legitimate form of "Petrolheading" or not. The fanbase's maturity, or lack thereof, is second only to the "more money than brains" crowd who are constantly wrecking supercars because they think that having an exotic sports car will make them racing drivers or whatever. I don't like stanced cars, at all, but I could even grow to accept them if it wasn't for the fanbase making us all look bad.

Agree completely.

I have no issue with anyone modding their car how they want. But if said mods make the car unsafe to drive, or to everyone else on the road and the owner gets offended when told so, they need to accept that there are consequences to their 'lifestyle'.

Also the 'dude-bro' nature of this community makes me want to vomit. You are not being rebellious, ironic, or cool by making your car utterly useless as a car. It is not hardcore to be unable to actually drive over normal roads or to be abused by the lack of suspension or ride comfort when you do drive you car. It's just dumb.

Grow up.

You are quite right. People usually try to argue about the cars, but really as you said the owners are for the most part immature, degenerates. Most of the people I know who are into Stance are also now 2 years out of high school and have no plan or concern for their future's besides how "dope" their ride is going to be.
