Really depends on the dealership. It's basically a setup like TrueCar where they can suck every penny out of the car, and then stack fees or take away things you don't qualify for (or don't even exist) as soon as you get there. I work at a dealership where our price is usually 1500-2k more because we believe in transparency. But most dealerships try their hardest to game the system.

Apparently if you're a member, they will handle the negotiations for you! I think someone on Oppo got a FiST of FoST this way a few weeks ago. I had no idea it existed until then and my parents have been Costo members for years. Pretty cool membership perk!

You can occasionally find unusual/cool stuff through it. Prices aren't necessarily great.
