There's a new addition in our driveway. Last Friday, my parents picked up a 2015 Forester 2.5i Limited. Exciting, right? However, on to the bigger news:
This one is now mine! A 2009 Forester 2.5X Limited in Sage Green. It's been in the family since new, and is in great shape at 52,000 miles. This is the one that would a take an interest in Subarus and turn it into a full blown love for them. I can't wait for many more miles ahead.

And the Subaru SUV owners clan goes stronger day by day.

I really wish I had owned a subaru earlier in my driving career. A Forester would have been the perfect car for college, though, I don't know where I could have gotten one fixed in Baton Rouge at the time...

Sweet! My wife and I just bought a 2015 Forester 2.5i Touring, we're anxiously waiting for a call from the dealer telling us it's in... I drove by the dealer "on my way to get coffee" and saw a red one, it must be ours, right? RIGHT?

I love the shit out of Foresters. Good thing they get the massive sun roof. A must.

I've always liked Camellia Red on these. It's not a color you see too often.

Did you order yours, or did they find you one still at port (or at another dealer)? Our dealer seems to have a lot of lower trim models, but very few of the higher trim models (1 Touring and 2 Limited). The Limited my parents bought was on the lot for a little over 2 days before they bought it. Quite a quick turn around.

They are definitely great cars. The sun roof on these is amazing. I still can't believe how open the Forester feels with all the windows down and the sun roof open.

They found us one at sea. All of the vehicles landing on the dealer's lot were already spoken for!

The pillars on these things are very thin.
That's part of why I love them. They're perfect for adventuring. It's like they designed them for America's national parks.
