How much more thoughtful could 80s GM get?

More thoughtful than 2000s GM.

That's the same trunk release button that came on my 98 Mustang. It is stupidly placed inside the glovebox.

Passengers can feel left out! You need to give them some sort of role. Pressing that button and hearing that futuristic noise from the struts feels damn good.

Coin sorters were in late 90's GM minivans as well. Spring loaded.

Wait, they still did that ten years later? My '88 had the same thing. What's stupider is that you needed to have the key in the ignition, so if your glove box was locked, you had to take the key out and then almost immediately put it back in.

And on the 05-09 there is no trunk release button. Who knows what was going on at Ford.

HNRGHHHHHH, PUSH THE YELLOW BUTTON EVEN THOUGH YOU DON'T NEED TO OPEN THE HATCH.
