Every parts store in the city had the same crappy alternator without the threaded boss on the lower back mount, so I'm going to have to go to the BMW store in the morning to buy one. On top of all that, on my way home from Eastgate, where I had bought and then returned the alternator, is when I got that flat earlier. I swapped the it out for the temporary spare, which on a Ford Freestar involves, winching down the spare using a screw (which is found in the cargo well), using the shitty scissor jack to raise up the car, swapping out the deflated tire for the spare, having my dad come with a bicycle pump to put air in the spare, taking the bad tire to Tire Discounters using my mom's car, and then using her car to go to a different store only to find that same crappy alternator.
So we are down to only her car. But I did see several cool cars today including a white 1969 Nova SS with a damn glorious exhaust note, a custom 54 Chevy, a custom 55 Chevy, a restored 57 Chevy, a black first year Chrysler 300, a PURPLE Bentley Mulsan, a black C7 convertible, a white 964 Carrera 4 (that was running like shit), a few Maserati Gran Tourismo's, and this:
it had red steelies. And for all of my shit luck, I bought a bottle of this:
Which I will enjoy in a little while.

I am interested to hear how that is. Some of the more recent Lips of Faith beers have been less than stellar.

Didn't realize 3FLoyds did a collabo with New Belgium. Interesting.
Also ...I hate Eastgate so much lol. If that's the Eastgate in Cincinnati that is.

3 Floyds has yet to let me down, will post again saying how it is.

Neither did I! So, I bought a bottle when I saw it.

Excellent, I look forward to hearing about it. Yes, anything from 3 Floyds is typically excellent.
I don't know if you are a fan of stouts, but if so, I would keep an eye out for the Sierra Nevada Raincheck. It is the first beer brewed in their new North Carolina location. It is a spiced stout with lime. Very interesting.

Jungle Jims? Assuming you're got it in Eastgate of Cincinnati.

Oh, well you were just all over the place today lol. Also I don't believe I've been there. Good selection?

Small but quite varied with damn good beers.
They even have a couple of Brew Dogs beers.

NIce. I didn't know Brew Dogs actually did commercial releases; I like their show though always informative and the only decent show on esquire.

I have one. Can't tap a hole for a bolt when the hole is larger than the bolt.

Is rebuilding the alternator not an option? On most cars but especially European ones I'd rather have it rebuilt than buy parts store junk.

Rebuilding it would be easy, but finding the parts is very difficult and they are very pricey.

Wait ...different BrewDogs haha.

I got a guy. Rebuilt my Bosch out of my Volvo for $25. Main reason I go to him is he can get the parts.

Same guys , they run a legit brewery, my phone just auto corrected what it shouldn't have.

If we want to brew a beer at the bottom of the ocean; we will. If we want to brew a beer at -20°c for three weeks; we will. If we want to brew the world's strongest beer; screw it, we will. We are determined to challenge people's perceptions of what beer is and how it can be enjoyed.
Quote from their site. I like that!

Damn a collabo with Mikkeller. You had any of Mikkeller's Beer Geek series?

I have not, I have had one of their beers and it was forever ago.

If you like Imperial Stouts as much as I do, you'd enjoy it very much. The beer geek brunch weasel just might be my favorite imperial stout/beer I've ever had. It also taught me of the existence of civet coffee.

That's listed as a guest beer on BrewDog's site
