There are a few Opponauts who have gotten their shirts selected for sale, right? I have a question for you lucky people. What exactly makes up a selectable (not a word) Blipshift design? I've only submitted two designs, and one is still within the 60-day limit. Therefore, I do not have a large enough data set to understand what makes a shirt successful and what does not.
To the left, we see an example of a shirt that went on sale some time ago. I understand the humor here, and the design is drawn very well.
This design, however, almost seems too simplistic. I see what they are trying to do, but it seems like a lazy design (nothing against person who made it). Granted, this design was of Team Blipshift's creation, so they can probably do whatever they want.
I know I've asked you guys a lot for your opinion on my designs, but here's a more general question. What makes a shirt good for Blipshift? Are my designs just not what Blipshift is looking for? Perhaps my Adobe Illustrator skills are not up to par? What do you guys think?

make it amazing, and clever, and keep it simple

You have to give the owners a blowjob, and then sacrifice a Ferrari 360 to the social media gods.

I mean that's kind of a given... Right?

... Well... Um...

It's the same process that it takes to become a Jalopnik writer too, pretty standard stuff.

Maybe there were just better designs submitted at the same time mine was.

I didn't design my shirt I just submitted a worded idea and got a few free shirts for it.
This was mine.
They even used my description on the site under submit an idea section.

Eh but I like to do the work myself... And I like money.

Have you seen the original fast & furious? That's all it is:
what was your design? Let's see it.

Well what designs did you submit? Share them with us and allow Oppo to critique.

I already posted them before I submitted the designs. They're somewhere on here if you search Blipshift.

I have no idea.

My buddy had a gem of an idea for a shirt and I whipped together a decent graphic for it and submitted, never heard anything back. And I'd say it was definitely a better idea than half their stuff in the past has been. Oh well.

My design is already on Oppo somewhere... I'll see if I can find it.

Pretty sure Doug's purchase agreement for his Ferrari was written in blood, too.

I guess everybody thinks that their design is better than the others... I felt that way too.

Haha, I own your shirt and love to wear it to the gym.

This was my most recent (and best) design.
It's not great, but it's not too shabby either. The orange letters ended up being a more golden-yellow.

This was my best design.

That's awesome. I have the original in white and wish I had the grey one in a long sleeve.

Well I think they just want the image and they are pretty picky about the colors you use and what combination. Are you using the stuff outlined on their submit art page?

I followed their submission rules. This is just the way it would look on a shirt.

I'm also pretty sure they would contact me if there was a problem with the design.
