And a Chinook helicopter flew over while I was at a stop light. It's weird feeling the car pulsating with the rotor thumps. Oh and I got to school and realized that my parking pass is in my E36, at home.

I used to live near Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Michigan, was my first (and only) apartment.

It was unbelievable how it was dead quiet and then all of a sudden a helicopter was over your head. I can't believe how little noise they make on approach, but when they are over your head you know it.

The funniest was seeing a jet fly over a football stadium and a minute or two later it roared over the apartment.
