Mine was 34.6 for a while until I pulled into my neighborhood and made an ass out of myself lol. 37.7 is quite the high average. Mine could maybe do that on a trip at 55mph...

Is this on your R? If I stick to around 55 I'll get 35 easy in my GTI on the highway. Round the back roads I'll get 28-33 depending on level of enjoyment.

At 55 is where is was getting this, and it was still on the upswing when I pulled off the highway. Backroads I do really high 20s. City is low to mid 20s.

I'm glad I live nowhere near a city. I've never seen lower than a 27 mpg average in mine. I'm going to have to try now.

I get around 21 in town, 30 highway, and consistently 34+ on a fun route that includes going over two mountain passes. EPA ratings are 30/21. Silly Volvo.

lol most of my driving is city, so I tend to average 22
the most I've gotten out of a tank so far is 310 miles

I do city driving all the time, I barely get to 60, which is why the mileage is soso. Its a 6 speed manual I adore. I use premium fuel, which is 92 Octane in Mexico. Fuel lasts me about a week and a half from full tank to 1/8th of a tank

i owned one up until yesterday, great car, love the shifter after i upgraded the toque mount; beats you up on bumpy roads, great car, I will miss it, but V70R is not a bad baby wagon so... ya know
