When the right turn signal is activated the infotainment screen shows a camera view of the blindspot

Neat? Maybe distracting? Definitely. We tested an Accord with that feature and found it to be annoying at best.

Trust me when I say it's the most annoying thing ever.

Our new Honda Oddysey has one and it is very annoying, as is the blind spot mirror on the driver's side :/

I don't get it.
What was so hard about looking at the mirror? IT'S RIGHT THERE!

Interesting, but I feel like a lot of these type of things are solutions looking for a problem. I feel the same way about backup cameras in small cars (like the new miata). If you can't back up properly in such a small vehicle, you probably should just stick to riding a bike.

I'd have to try it for myself. I suspect I'd get annoyed pretty quickly though.

It's a blind spot view though, it's showing you more than what the mirror does.
It's like having one of those little blind spot mirrors. I have them and I never use them, they're too hard to focus on. This would be better.

OK, if they show a little sliver of blind spot, I only think they are 99% stupid now.
I'll need to spend some seat time in one of these things for any further change in my opinion. :)

I guess in the rare circumstance where your passenger was leaning forward and you couldn't view your passenger mirror this would be helpful to change lanes.... Or you can look over your right shoulder. Either way.
