To be specific, the 1995 model year, sold in the U.S. (but not necessarily a domestic vehicle)
For research and other scientific reasons.
I'm not really sure what mine is, but I'll say the Chevrolet Impala SS for now, followed by the Acura Legend.

Ooh, BMW still made the E34 M5 in '95.
That's my answer.
E36 M3 being a close second.

I'm going to be honest here, I've lived in America for 9 years and I don't think I've EVER seen one in the metal.

But E36 M3 is a close second

The 96 SS was better. Center shifter and analog gauges.

Pretty much everything everyone else has posted, and these: the Audi S6 and Mercedes-Benz E500.

I suppose McLaren F1 doesn't really count, because how many were available in America?
So, it would have to be the NSX.

Such a good year. So many good choices. (The first pic is '94, but still...)
993 Turbo in Arena Red, please and thank-you.
P.S. the last two pics are of the highest quality and resolution that you're likely to find anywhere online. Enjoy .

Gotta go with the ZR1.

My friend's dad has a 993 Turbo exactly like the one in the last pic. I'm not a Porsche guy by any means, but, my god, that thing looks amazing.

I worked for a dealership body shop in 95 and we got two of these with hail damage from a sister store.
I got to drive one (automatic..) from the far north Chicago suburbs to our shop in Melrose Park.
It was a friggin blast! That hour and a half drive (should have been 40 minutes) is burned into soul.
(The Monroney label was around $50,000!)

My fav car that existed in 1995 would be a '63 Vette Z06. #AMIDOINGTHISRIGHT?

I think I'd go NSX. Moar reliable than F355 and moar exotic than 911 or Alfa sedan

For me, it was the Cadillac Fleetwood. Partially sentimental, but it was a damn fine car too.

Ok final (non mclaren) answer: Porsche 928 GTS
Everyone is suggesting 993 911's which are cool, and certainly the last generation of the air cooled 911s. But I love the 928, 1995 was the last year for them and the car had peaked. I know the purist answer is 911, the the 928 simply remains a more interesting car to me.

Yes, it should. I just used the closest photo I had, since I don't have any '95 ZR1 photos on my laptop. The one pictured is a '93. Was hoping nobody would notice and think otherwise :D

I'm going to go with a batshit choice and pick the Lotec C1000. It was a one-off build for an Arabian businessman, but it could have been an a American!

1995 Cobra R. Not much power by today's standards, but it was a stripped down race car for the street!
