I just got It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World on Blu-ray and had forgotten how awesome it is. If you've never seen this movie I highly recommend it. One of the great chase comedies, it has vintage cars, almost all the great comedians up to this point in history and cameos by the rest of them, all filmed in glorious, glorious Ultra Panavision.

If you are recommending a movie to people who have never seen or heard of it, it's usually helpful to give the movie's title.

I've never liked those bloated cast movies....but I did enjoy the chase scenes.

This is one of the few I can stand. It's tantamount to sacrilege here but I've no intention of ever watching Cannonball Run ever again. That movie was ruined by its cast. This one excels since it seems each part was made for its respective cast member. And it doesn't suffer from that sped up film trick to make the chase scenes look faster.

Not only is it very funny and one of my favorite movies, it's also a great movie for classic car buffs. One of the cars featured is this very rare Imperial convertible.

I'm at the scene now where Sylvester catches up to Milton Berle. It's amazing what they put these cars through., and cringe worthy at the same time.

I've always like this movie. The guy playing Ethel Merman is awesome. To bad he later died of the disease.
