I'll do a full write-up with pictures and everything later, but let me just say, holy crap, those were the best 10 consecutive days of my life. Israel is a gorgeous, wonderful, and above all, very safe place (despite what the media may want you to think). We also spent 5 days with 8 Israeli soldiers, and got to hang out with them and get a completely different perspective on what it means to be 18-21 in Israel. If you are in anyway eligible to do your Birthright-Taglit trip, DO IT.

Been to Israel twice now. Once with family and once with Birthright. Its great. At one point my friend and I started counting all the Miatas we could see from the bus while touring. Surprisingly not a lot.

Seems like you should be friends with Dogapult. His dad is native Israeli.

I know someone who lives in Boise Idaho, who went to Israel in august, and he got to meet with a large group of high Israeli government officials, and he was going to meet with the prime minister, but that didn't end up happening
Here's a link to some of the sermons he did,

It's the 8/17-8/31 sermons,
Yes it's religious because he is a free Methodist pastor, but very interesting nonetheless
