Dropped a PS1 on my big toe once. It took a year for the bruise spot on my toenail to grow out.

One managed to pry three toenails off with a flipper - gym coach still told me to swim, despite it stinging like an absolute bitch.
And then, whenever I wear flipflops, I always manage to stub my toe. Always. I'm still recovering.
I hate flipflops.

So about six years ago I jumped into a pool and slammed my toe on the bottom. I thought I broke it, but we were on vacation so I decided to tough it out. It quit hurting after a week or two, so I just forgot about it.
Fast forward a couple of years... it never really healed quite right, so I reluctantly went to a podiatrist. She told me I snapped the tendon and it never reattached, so my body resorbed the tissue.
TL;DR: my right middle toe has a missing tendon, so it just kind of hangs there.
I've linked to the pictures in case there are people who don't want to see gross feet.
