Walking around i saw 2. A beater coupe and a gorgeous wagon. 2 blocks away from each other. The coupe has been in that area since i had my 242dl in 05, the wagon is fresh around town. I would rock either obviously

Right. Portland OR has gotten too mainstream. Hipsters are now moving to the other Portland. You've probably never heard of it.

Hell, in left-coast Portland, the 240 is too mainstream.
Of course, that's also known as "enthusiast base", and probably part of the reason IPD is there. It's also nice that 240s mostly avoid death by tinworm in the PNW.
