Believe it or not, this is my first time making Hamburger Helper, and I'm super excited. So, it will be this and some Sherlock. What's on your table tonight?

Nothing, I would rather go hungry than make something!!!

Surprisingly, the same thing. But mine was flat noodles instead of elbow.

Homemade chili and cornbread.
Perfect for this chilly Wisconsin night.

HAHAHAH and I thought my meal was ghetto. French fries on a hamburger bun :( Was actually good.

Made myself some Fusilli with fish head and shrimp sauce.

Wendy's. What was for breakfast? Mcdonalds. What was for lunch? Subway.
Goddamn it. I need to find an apt soon.

I was thinking of something to make for a cold Saturday night, so chili it is.

A bowl of cheerios and dark thoughts.

Green chile chicken enchiladas, I just got three cases of fresh roasted hatch green chili last weekened so its time to start cooking with it.

Wife's out of town and I was told not to just eat fast food every meal so I had this.

Whataburger. #2

Between this, and my McDonalds post the other day, I have learned that Oppo loves food and we are all eager to share what we're eating
And to add to this observation, my dinner is an omlet and I'm contemplating cooking some bread dough I made because I am food-broke
![]() 09/11/2014 at 20:49 |
|
Chicken Breast, Mashed Potatoes, and Fried Potatoes. We're Irish dammit.
![]() 09/11/2014 at 20:50 |
|
Ooh, I accidentally made chili and cornbread the other night. Turkey works surprisingly well in chili
![]() 09/11/2014 at 20:51 |

NEVER GROW UP. NEVER SURRENDER.
![]() 09/11/2014 at 20:52 |
|
Oppos are going to disagree with me all over, but I don't even use meat in mine.
![]() 09/11/2014 at 20:55 |
|
I need to get non-meat dishes down, if'n I ever bring a vegetarian home. What'd you use in lieu of meat as the main? I was thinking kidney beans, or a whole bunch of corn and cheese
![]() 09/11/2014 at 20:57 |
|
That reminds me of my hashbrown and toast breakfast sandwiches from back in the day.
![]() 09/11/2014 at 20:58 |

G...grandma? Mi abuela es un oppo? Por que son enchiladas de mi abuela en oppo?

Baby food. In an interesting turn of events, the government no longer wants to issue medical degrees to medical students, so we learned to cook cheap baby food for poor families in pediatrics class today. My recipe was a sort of beef, potato and broccoli fry, which would've been lovely if it wasn't "adapted" to children's health, that is, no seasonings, not even a smidge of salt, frying it so light the beef was still raw and crushing what would otherwise be an okay looking plate of food into an uneasy mash of brownish green goo that tasted exactly like brownish green goo should.
![]() 09/11/2014 at 20:58 |

This should be Oppo COTD for tomorrow.
![]() 09/11/2014 at 20:59 |
|
I would recommend more potato on that chicken, good sir.
![]() 09/11/2014 at 20:59 |
|
Kidney beans, black beans, pinto beans, garbanzo beans, corn, green peppers, tomatoes. I know people will argue about the lack of meat, but my philosophy is that chili is a vehicle for wonderful peppers.

Funny, most of what Whataburger serves is #2
jk, jk
![]() 09/11/2014 at 21:00 |

Explain. I want.
![]() 09/11/2014 at 21:07 |

All the beans, love it. Reminds me of a favourite recipe of mine. All those beans, bacon, bbq sauce, mustard, hickory smoke, brown sugar, crocpot. Huh, that...actually just might be chili again.
![]() 09/11/2014 at 21:22 |

blasphemy. Back in my youth $1 justaburgers meant college meals.
![]() 09/11/2014 at 21:24 |
|
A huge bag of Pretzels that I bought from Wegmans. Yeah, that's about it.
![]() 09/11/2014 at 21:30 |
|
Nothing. I'll be over shortly. Will bring some beer.
![]() 09/11/2014 at 21:32 |
|
Recipe follows:
2 pieces of bread (toasted)
2 frozen Mcdonald's style hashbrowns, warmed in the microwave
Ketchup
Combine, eat. feel regret, repeat.

Whatever is in my freezer, then my microwave, then my stomach.

I'm so lazy that all I do is work and Oppo. That way I don't have to get up other than to eat or pee.
![]() 09/11/2014 at 21:48 |

Saladlopnik-
For some reason I made a truly ridiculous amount of salad. I'll eat some tomorrow I guess...not pictured—-delicious croutons, grilled chicken, Caesar dressing, shaved Parmesan.
![]() 09/11/2014 at 21:50 |

I am so lazy that in my bathroom there are 3 sticks of deodorant. Two are empty. I am literally too lazy to pick them up with my arm, and throw them in the trash, which is literally 10 feet away.
![]() 09/11/2014 at 21:57 |
|
I know the feel! I do stuff like that. I surprise myself with just how lazy I am sometimes.
I need to get married to a ball busting wife who will boss me around.
![]() 09/11/2014 at 22:02 |
|
Dude, I need that more than anything. In like 10 years.
I know what you mean though. My laziness shocks even me. Like, I do not fold clothes. Period. Ever. I do not do this. I'll throw clothes in the dryer with a ice cube every single day, but I will not fold clothes.
![]() 09/11/2014 at 22:06 |
|
Haha that means I needed that a year ago
Fuck folding clothes. And ironing. I take all shirts to the dry cleaners. Too hard to fold and iron
![]() 09/11/2014 at 22:10 |
|
lol Iron? That's a thing people still do? I thought that was in the Middle Ages...
![]() 09/11/2014 at 22:39 |
|
LOL. Does this ice cube thing really work? I've never tried it
![]() 09/11/2014 at 22:41 |

Pretty well, honestly. Wrinkles, be gone! Although honestly, I don't even care about a bit of wrinkles. It's part of my lax bohemian style, yo.
![]() 09/11/2014 at 22:43 |
|
Damn Oppo be spreading knowledge tonight! I'm gonna try that. Thanks!
![]() 09/11/2014 at 22:47 |
|
Works best with like one or two cubes max, high heat, and very little clothing. Just like shirt, pants, a thong or two.
![]() 09/11/2014 at 22:50 |
|
That reminds me a chick left her thong here and I forgot to give it back the last time she came over. It's sitting in a drawer. I need to give it back to avoid the other girl I'm seeing finding it...

Same thing I had for lunch: Ranch Provolone Grilled Cheese Sandwiches with Jalapeños
![]() 09/11/2014 at 23:24 |

Can I put truffle oil on it? I think this might soften the blow to my self esteem when I contemplate what choices I have made to end up in the terrible state I am in.

haha. No cause neither wants to be in a serious relationship so I'm not doing anything wrong. But that being said still better that they don't know about each other ...
![]() 09/12/2014 at 11:59 |

There was one when I was growing up, I think it was a different brand. Don't remember what it was called, but it was like a super lunchable. I think it had another set of meat and cheese, I know it had an andes mint in the middle of the tray. Haven't been able to find it, of course I've hardly looked.
![]() 09/12/2014 at 12:04 |

I think it would take 4 of those little lunchables to feed me.
![]() 09/12/2014 at 12:07 |

It seemed like a lot more food 20 years ago. It was an apetizer
![]() 09/12/2014 at 12:12 |
|
Is this it?
![]() 09/12/2014 at 12:23 |

Naw, it was a kids lunch meal thing. Now that you mention it though, those are just lunchables for adults
![]() 09/12/2014 at 12:57 |

It's always better that way. Always.

REEEEEESES
![]() 09/12/2014 at 14:38 |

I'm toying with the idea of ordering a take away from justeat.co.uk. there are 39 take aways within a mile from me Chinese, English, American, Nepalese, Italian, Greek and Indian. Too many choices and I know I'll make a pig of myself and order loads of stuff so I'm going to resist as much as I cans of Irn Bru.
![]() 09/12/2014 at 21:24 |

As an english fellow, I assumed hamburger helper would be something to do with hamburgers.
I am now incredibly confused.
![]() 09/12/2014 at 21:48 |

it's got hamburger meat in it
![]() 09/12/2014 at 23:29 |

sos bolognese sauce, but itsgot nothing to do with hamburgers.
Im still very confused.
