I prefer your artistic rendering. But I think the kept the wings because they're still subtly channeling the traditional Miata taillights.

I think they could have pulled off the taillight "wings" a little bigger to channel those NA taillights, but on the other hand single round lights are a trademark on sports cars in general.

Thank you. I absolutely hate those stupid lights that you covered up. The make the back of the car way too busy. It's too small of a car to have so many things going on back there. The bottom is already busy. It looks better after you MS Painted it up
