I didn't seen any coal roll. In fact I don't think those are even diesel engines. I mean not a lot of people supercharge diesels.

Yes you can and they do and they have supercharged diesels. Two strokes to be specific. This engine is a marine use Detroit diesel, I believe. Most of the diesels DD made while under the GM banner were two stroke and many were supercharged. They sound very unique as they go through the revs.
This is a 12v71 (v12 71cc combustion chamber) there are two superchargers in the valley.

It's a V24-71 Detroit with 12 blowers. I guarantee if this ever sees the road it will be the coal-rolling champ.
