In the coming weeks I will be doing a massive ton of work on my car. I have three tasks to complete but they are each pretty big. Having said that, I will need space to work on the car and possibly let the car sit in a spot for a week or so. If I cannot get space to work I will be forced to work on the street and that will make the work much more difficult than it already is and I will also accrued some parking tickets... If anyone has any ideas on where I can work I would really appreciate it.
Thanks!
Can I please have the garage above???

Where are you located? You could borrow my garage if you're nearby.

Manhattan is not a good place to work on cars. Maybe find a drive in storage unit out in the burbs somewhere you can rent for a month?

Yeah very possible. Just getting there is the hard part, its needs to be accessible via public transport and walkable from the station.

Ah, that's a bit far away from me. Unless you want to bring your car to Indianapolis to work.

Here is a place that has outdoor units in Jersey City. They claim to have free pickup from Liberty Park Light Rail?

If you wanted to run out to shoreline CT you can use my Pop's garage. Kind of a hike but you can just crack it out out there easy enough. Has compressor and tools

Just FYI Public Storage often has $1 first months rent specials with no contract. You do have to pay a $20 administrative fee. A one car garage at $21 for 30 days is hard to beat.

Oh yeah I can, its a matter of calling up all the folks and asking if I can wrench there.

Some units have lighting inside as well! Which comes in handy if you want to work with the door closed like myself.

None of the public storages anywhere in the area have a parking space. I think I will end up on the street in front of my house.

I wasn't talking about an outside parking space. I'm talking about a 10'x15' drive up storage unit. Just happens to have a door big enough to get a regular sized car in.
