I don't notice it at all. It's roughly the size and thickness of a key, so it just lies flat with the other stuff

Yeah, VW. I was just pointing out it'd be a little silly to put that keychain on a Chevy key :p VW's been using the switchblade key for a long time now, I think since the start of the MkIV generation.

We've owned 3 VWs, and Audi, and an Equinox, (among others) so I'm pretty familiar with the switchblade key master race.

I love the one with the Equinox. What VW do you have? Not super familiar with the engines in VW's but I like their cars.

'03 GTI VR6, which I love. There's virtually no difference between the Equinox key and the VW one. Slightly different materials and the Equinox key has sharper edges, that's about it.
