[[INSULTED SPLUTTERING]]
HK$60?! For some teeny tiny apples in their own plastic suit? I don't think so honey, I'll stick with some less privileged apples that are nearly thirty bucks less.

$7.74 in US dollars. Still a total rip off.

Agreed. Especially nowadays, with the Russian boycott of agricultural products apples should be cheaper than normal. Outside of Russia that is.

Supermarket's pretty desperate to sell them - they're in a clearance sale and some are marked at just $40!!!!!!
Still. Nah.

Even at $40, that's still crazy expensive. For that price they need to do something more than just be apples. Here in the US you'd typically get a dozen for about HK$30.

Ahh, there it is, that hint of desperation.

They must be different than the sun drenched orchards that I drive past to get to work.
