what county in CO are you in?

The GTO is nicer. I dont know much about skylines, but I do know CO is an emissions nazi state.

Don't you dare for anything under GTR. G's for G's, homie.

out of state cars registering in CO need a VIN check, I bet that'll be your first obstacle even before the emissions testing.
I'd take an R32 over teh GTO, but I bet teh GTO is faster and more comfortable to drive daily.
out of state ads on local CL always seems spammy to me

Whoops! Hehe

a GTO for a R32 GTS? NOT WORTH IT! a skyline GTS is worth about $6500.00

I'm sure it'll be legal if you put these wheels on it.

It has been great, just changed the diff and trans fluid and its purring.

True... is it possible to run a vin check on someone else's car? And the GTO is so comfy, just treated the leather seats mmm

Dont do it! You will regret it.

no, brought my car in from New York, the check consisted of a "qualified" persona the emissions testing place confirming the VIN on the title matched the VIN on the dash and engine

ah too bad. Front range gets the e tests. Register it in Grand Junction if you know someone out there. That is what I used to do

This. According to my math, you need to be looking at 89 models only.

Yeah I had the GTO vin checked, guess it's an in-person thing... He says it will e-test in idaho... I dunno everyone has pretty much convinced me against it.

He showed me a picture of the e test in idaho. I Wonder if there are any differences. It's panning out to be too much of a hassle I think.

if it were already registered in Denver it would certainly take a lot of the risk out of it, but its pretty tempting!

they use a tailpipe sniffer. But I dont remember if it is 20 years to get a historic vehicle tag out there or 25. That would get you around it

I think "selling for a friend" is code for "I'll murder you in the middle of the woods after you've signed your car over"

Step 1) register a business in canada.
Step 2) Register the skyline in canada under that business' name
Step 3) Flip off the DMV when you drive past with canada plates.

Dude, that's a nice GTO. Don't trade it for something you may not even be able to register.
