I've always thought the Corrado looked so cool. I'd like to drive a well set up one sometime.

Great looking cars imo. Wouldn't mind owning one in the future.

Even a stock one drives quite well. I still kick myself for not purchasing a VR6 when it came out, but I was so ticked off after getting strangled by the automatic seatbelt that I walked away. In retrospect that was a very dumb decision.

I like them but I don't know if I could ever own / drive one. Getting dry humped by every VW fan boy every time I get out to get gas, groceries, hookers, liquor, or the ATM sounds like an unpleasant experience.

Maybe not, haha. Strangled? I've never had automatic belts do that to me.

To summarize, I came back from the test drive, opened the door at the same time I reached down for the hood release. The belt grabbed me by the neck and stuffed my head into the dash. I didn't know how to release it, and barked out for help. The salesman and my friend came over and bust out laughing before releasing me. Good thing this was in the days before cell phone cameras...

Never ever ever ever get a G60. That is all.

I don't suspect this one in particular is able to clear speed bumps.

Agreed - VR6 only, but good luck finding one that hasn't been modified. I wonder how difficult it would be to swap in a VR6 engine into a G60 car? I saw an engine at the junkyard the other day for just $169 sitting in the nose of a wrecked Jetta Mk3; I just wanted to take it home and put it on a stand and leave it in my living room (no garage) until I found the perfect project car.
I'll take mine in Corrado Burgundy or dark green please, with a beige leather interior.
