figured I would post an idea of a car I want to build one day, yes it is a wagon and a manual but would not be brown or a diesel..

Without further rambling.

based a large part on a 82 malibu wagon that my dad owned when I was growing up, heres a picture of it which ive posted around here a few times

my plans would be slight handling upgrades with (if I could find a cheap enough one) a modernish v8 (LT1 or LS1 heck even a 305 or 350 tpi) T56 6 speed manual and highway geared rear end, and for paint instead of the yellow and white like my dads the yellow would be a nice blue and the white would be gunmetal (like a model he built

For wheels I was thinking the stock alums from a 86-88 monte ss, possibly even the N90 which are the same but 17in, other than that I figured I would fine tune as the project went along..

Again its just an idea I would like to do someday, and a decent wagon can be found in the 3-5k range when they pop up which isnt too often.

sleep in the frunk. bring a tent. your bedroom. a hotel. the ground. on top of the engine. on the roof. plenty of options.
