The 2013 finish of the Camping World Truck race in Canada
Versus the 2014 finish of the same race
Same corner, same situation, very different results.

See, this is what I have never understood about racing, especially NASCAR. In the 2013 GIF, the white truck basically performs the PIT maneuver on the other as they enter the corner. Is that a legal racing move? Was the white truck disqualified?
I have attempted to watch a race before, from beginning to end, but something like this always happens and causes a wreck. Then they say "Rubbin' is racin'", and I sit there thinking why is this allowed? I thought the point was to be faster and position your car better, not just knock other cars out of the way.
That second GIF? That's fucking racing.

The scientist in me won't believe it until more proof of right turns is produced. Once a fluke, twice a coincidence, three or more starts to make a trend.

The first GIF doesn't really show you much. Chase Elliot and Ty Dillon had been going back and forth at it and hitting each other for the past 3 laps, Elliott got in hot on the last turn and had his nose alongside and Dillon tried to close the door, you see the result. It was a race for the win going down to the final turn.
