Just got a reply to a comment I made on the frontpage over three years ago. It's not exactly uncommon to get replies to older comments, but three years is a record for me. Who does that?

That guy, obviously.

Whenever that happens, I go to the front page and see what's related. They often link to older, related stories.

Earlier this summer I had a reply to a post from like 2008 or something. How do they even find those posts?

I recently got a reply to a comment I made in 2009 or 2010. It's not that strange though, sometimes an older article is referenced in a new one, not everyone notices (or cares about) the age.

It was probably me. Cool thing about Kinja is you start following people, getting suggestions in the left hand column, clicking on people's names, etc. and obviously the stories will go way back.
I like it because it actually notifies you whereas on some of the lamer blog sites that will never ever have a chance to be seen.

the little "Related Articles" boxes and not paying attention to dates. I think the oldest thing I replied to like that was about 2 years old :\
