Specially Thermodynamics. Notes of only 1 class that lasts an hour and a half.

Fuck that!

Sweet Jesus. I'm glad I'm a business major.

Partly because it's in Spanish and partly because I don't know what any of it means. And I can't really read the hand writing.

I'm so glad I only have to worry about mathematical induction. Thermodynamics sounds hard.

... And?
Just wait for Heat Transfer.

yeah kiddo. Just wait 'til you get to fluid mechanics or dynamic systems.
If you want to join the clan "engineer", you've gotta pay to play.

Even if you understand Spanish it doesn't make much sense (it's something about the combustion of gasoline and the emissions it produces; AKA, a shit ton of maths).

Been there, done that.

If you've already had to write systems of state-space equations and develop plant transfer functions and Bode plots, what are you crying over this stuff for? Thermo is just physical properties, no heavy diff-eq, no Laplace transforms- just paint by number.

I ain't even mad.

pshhh, thermo isn't that bad. Just get your equations in order and plug and play. Even a lowly EE can do it.

Bode plots are my jam! Whoop whoop!

I take it you are an ME? What do they use Bode plots for in the ME world?
![]() 09/02/2014 at 15:36 |

Affirmative.
I dunno, optimizing iso mounts, vehicle suspension work, control systems for governing engine speed, lots of stuff.

Vibes and modal analysis are the big classes that use Bode plots. At least those are the first two classes that spring to mind when I think Bode plots. You probably see them in Controls, and possibly Dynamics.
