Me and fellow OPPOnaut Diesel attended the even earlier in the year..... yeah the weather was just impossible. Soooo hot! Indycar and the promoters couldn't find a date in the scheduled to make things work. It was fun though. I guess people just didn't want to be in a hot Texas Gulf Coast parking lot even if it was for awesome racing.

That's too bad, I wanted to go next year. I found out about it too late this year and I was in College Station at the time.

I'll be at COTA this year for F1 and to both it and Mexico GP next year. I'm not sure what will by my closest Indycar event now. It would be rad if they went to COTA

I just read this in the Chronicle two minutes ago. While I think that having a June race in Houston is an absurd idea, I'm not exactly happy that they couldn't reschedule it for a more appropriate time of year.

yeah true. Or make it a night race under the parking lot lights. Also, make it like the old CART races Downtow... yeah that wouldn't work either.
Fuck it, make the Astrodome the worlds first 2 story, indoor race track!
