$10 says that Jay's YouTube channel will soon consist of nothing but short clips from his TV show 6 months after they first aired on TV.
While I have my reservations about the execution, I can understand the rationale behind why /DRIVE has done the things that it has done recently. Jay Leno, on the other hand, has more money than God and can produce whatever the hell he wants to on the Internet with absolutely no network interference. I actually like the YouTube format of Jay Leno's Garage and I just can't see how putting it on TV where you have to bow down to the wishes of the network, the FCC, and the sponsors will improve the quality of the show in any way.

I really don't see one replacing the other. The youtube channel is basically Jay doing what he wants and cost almost nothing to produce because everyone comes to him.
