all attempts to communicate with the driver was a fail, she was also doing ~15-20 below speed limit, and very tentatively changing lanes. I truly expect an accident in her near future :S

Racist question: Are you driving through Montbello?

my favorite single brake light is when on the high mounted light works

I... what? negative

well at least then you can tell they aren't just attempting a right turn I guess

Where I am from as long as 1 (one) brake light and taillight works, you're not actually braking the law.
Edit: Unless your brake light is also your turn signal. As mine is.

I am fucking dying because of this graphic. Good job

yikes, scary.
I did wonder if I rear ended her if I could blame her

Not in Ontario you couldn't. Our guide to accident fault irregardless of circumstances can be found here with easy pictures.

are you racist against mushrooms?

pedantic off topic, I really hate that webster's dictionary considers that a word now...

Don't blame me. Blame the dictionary. Also I am sad that noone picked up on my "Braking the law" pun! :(
You guys need to get more book learning!

No, just throwing a guess out there. Montbello is the 'hood that's so ghetto even Aurora doesn't claim it.
...just weak material and a shot in the dark.

For whatever reason, Chevy Ventures often have only the CHMSL lit.

I was just joking. I don't really know any places in Colorado except Denver, Boulder, and Gunnison, since I live 3000 + miles away in another country.

huehuehue, rear ended...

This is awesome.
I see cars around SoCal all the time with only one brake light working, and it drives me nuts for whatever reason. My office building has those really reflective outside windows, so I check my brake lights using the reflection once a month or so. I wish other people would do the same.

>.< goddamnit can't believe I missed that.
upshot though, I did recently learn where the "ir-" part of "irregardless" probably comes from- "regardless of" and "irrespective" are synonyms

I do honestly wish tehre was an easy way to contact a driver, brake lights esspecially are something people don't check, and cant easily check on their own (not all of us have shiny buildings).

...and now they have been combined in a German fashion to make a new word. Interesting.

+1 random reference of Gunnison. Did you go to school there? I had one buddy who did and skied/snowboarded almost every day.
![]() 08/28/2014 at 14:40 |

Haha nope. I visited Gunnison when my family drove across Colorado in 2000. That is pretty much the only part of Colorado I remember.

Fords in the 80s had this little vehicle display in the lower center console that told you if any of your lights were out. You can kind of see it behind the shifter here:

BMWs have a whole row of lights to tell you when things aren't working, none of the trouble lights worked in my buddy's e30, there was no light to tell you when the things are broken light was broken
