The canopies were made by a company called Model Builders of Chicago, Illinois and it was a factory option for the C1. Only 20-25 were made.

The one in the picture was auctioned for $176k two years ago.

the reason for such low production numbers is because they were hotter than the sun. They would put so much hear into the interior that Chevy dropped it once they figured out their design problem
