Richard Attenborough 1923-2014. In recognition of his career I recommend that you watch The Sand Pebbles. Both my favorite McQueen and Attenborough film.

Great film.
I had only seen McQueen in Bullitt and Le Mans, and had known of him for his racing/love of cars prior to watching this one night. This movie cemented that McQueen was in fact a tremendous actor and was able to carry such a serious role very well.
