Racing as a whole was better in the 80s. Watching videos of old BTCC races (Then called the British Saloon Car Championship) gives you the impression these cars were beasts. They look downright hard to handle, as if the drivers are fighting them through every corner. The way they bounce around, and exit almost every corner pointed in a less-than-optimal direction makes you wonder how hard these cars really are to drive flat out. Allow yourself to be engulfed by the beauty that was racing in the 1980s.
Added bonus, British Rallycross was also pretty badass.
