My dad's Passat TDI 150-odd HP just roflstomped the Murdersofa at autocross.
Dammit.
Videos coming later.

I'll send you my paypal address.
Though I'm thinking of using aircraft cable to add preload to my front springs by compressing them slightly and then wrapping it around the coil. Because I'm ghetto as shit.
Or buy some Chinese coilovers and put them on. Worked for the MCM drift car, amirite?

We need to crowdfund our cars.

my suggestion: spend like $200 on eibach springs. Sure, doing a spring/shock combo would be better because comfort but getting some good springs will greatly change the handling. It won't ride as smooth though.

That will never work, and I dislike how people on oppo keep thinking it will.
![]() 08/23/2014 at 22:40 |

And those will work on my LeSabre? The stock springs are part of a MacPherson strut setup and only like 8 inches tall.

I've actually never seen someone try that but it sound like a hilarious fail
![]() 08/23/2014 at 22:45 |

Yeah, that's what would happen. Seems strange that would ever happen though.

I guess not. I'm finding lots of camber kits and alignment pins though.
![]() 08/23/2014 at 23:01 |

So... buy the camber kit, cut my springs, become #hellaflush

haha, they're performance camber kits, for track/autocross use. Not sure why they ever made them for a buick..
