I MENDED SOMETHING SUCCESSFULLY IN AUTO TECH TODAY.

We had to change the brake pads on our teacher's Blazer and since only four of us out of the 15 in the class had our correct uniform/safety gear, we got to fix a corner by ourselves!

And I did it all right the first attempt.

And I was the only person who he didn't have to tighten the bolts for.

Fuck yeah!

(This probably doesn't seem like much, but I usually don't succeed when I try to fix something mechanically)

Have a car that's about as happy as I was.

Oh, that Blazer I was talking about, today we learned that it was in a rollover accident and our teacher actually repaired and reassembled it from the ground up. It almost looks factory, but some panel gaps are rather large. I would've never been able to tell if he hadn't told us.
