Also, sorry about this stupid post, Oppo. I've been reading the old Robert E. Howard Conan stories, because eventually too much Lovecraft makes your mind hurt and you might as well read his best friend.

Although I'd recommend the original Robert E. Howard Conan stories over any of the movies. Howard was a genius, and a sadly under-appreciated one. Also, if you don't like fantasy stories, read them anyway, since they are "historical" fiction. They are set in the Hyborian Age, a period of history that was ancient to the civilizations we now consider ancient.
