I wanted to order my 2014 as the Sport RHD model just to throw everyone off. But they only sell them in auto (I had to have stick) and the dealer made up some BS about not being able to sell them in the US (they just didn't know how to do it, they are 100% us legal according to Jeeps US website)

Wrong. They were only hiring temporary and offered no benefits as well as no set work schedule. Basically, I was told that I could be needed for as long as a year or as little as a month. And I'd have to buy a vehicle to use to deliver mail. The initial investment required would more than eclipse any money I'd have made.

I too, am going through that consideration. And no rural delivery job to excuse it, and even the rural carriers are moving up market.. I guess I could always ring up the newspaper as a backup. Because.. well, it's cheap, and looks to be in good shape. Plenty of funds to make that trip to Australia or the UK for spares to convert it to manual. Might be nothing more than a bracket and a grommet.
