Honest question: With a name like "Rossi," how many Americans will think he's Italian? We need an American driver named "Jones," or something. (Yeah, "Jones" is a Welsh name, but Americans don't know that.)

You need an American driver named Svensson or something.

Americans don't have a problem claiming Andretti (and he was born Italian), I doubt they would with Rossi.

I thought about that, but the Andretti family has been in the US so long now, and he's a household name. Even people who don't actively follow racing know the name.
Oooh, here's an idea. Get Alexander to drive for Williams and it would be....Martini & Rossi.
