Something I really want to do is get either a Z/28 or Boss 302 and on the day I graduate from high school I just want to leave the ceremony in a long cloud of smoke with long black 11's on the ground behind me. Unfortunately unless someone in my family buys one this is very unlikely to happen.

If you are willing to downgrade to a 5.0 and are able to save $1k/month for a few years (assuming you have that long in HS left), it's doable. Even more so if you're willing to get a 3v.

Ten years from now you won't care and you will only care about impressing people who matter.

Not to impress anyone just to get the hell away from my school and town. Also because I want to. I hate a good 96% of the people I go to school with anyway. I have no reason to impress any of them

It's only been 2 months since I graduated from high school and I agree to this wholeheartedly.

Same still applies, looking back you won't care what you did ten years ago and you'll be happy not to have any of them in your life. You gain a lot of clarity once you ditch the high school crowd and join the real world. I can't say if the same applies if you just go to college right out of high school though, you might find more of the same bullshit.

I know, I haven't decided on whether or not I'm going straight out of high school or if I'm taking a year off to work to get money for college. As cool as it'd be to graduate from college in 2020, I'd rather leave college in as little debt as I possibly can.

I'd like to offer you advice on the right path but I don't know if I'll ever finish college myself. I've been three times and screwed up royally the first time because I didn't want to be there, came back the second time to a 0.9 GPA and worked my way to above a 3.0 and then quit again when I got put on academic probation for bullshit policies even though my gpa was still over 3.0, then tried going to a different school at the same time I was starting a high stress job. Right now I have a decent job and two little kids and I want my wife to finish college before I go back so I don't know if I'll ever bother. It might not matter by the time I decide I have time to do it again.

I want to be an engineer so I want (and kind of need) to go to college. I don't know what I'm going to do yet. A lot of it depends on if I have money to do it.

Yeah, engineering is awesome. A part of me wants to go back for mechanical engineering, because racecar, but I have such terrible focus I think half of all the majors sound good. I've considered : Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Film, History, Architecture, Auto Tech and a few others I can't remember.

I've bounced back and forth between things I've wanted to do for a while. From Geology to Astronomy, and from Scandinavian studies to oceanography. Now I've basically set on some sort of engineering from either Mech, Auto, or Aerospace or what ever it is,
