I've never found either of them very attractive. The F40 looks depressed and the F50 kind of derpy. Though I'd have an F50 because it's nuttier.

I actually really like how the F50 looks. I love it. I saw an F40 in person in California on the highway once. Got to drive next to it for a minute. It's very striking and super cool looking in person. I would have been more excited if I wasn't on my way to my uncle's funeral...

I prefer the F50 but I think part of it depends if you were a kid in the late 80s or the late 90s. The F50 was the 'poster car' of my generation and I still like it now, same with the XJ220. The F40 was a little before my time and even though I appreciate it now for what it is it doesn't have the same appeal as the F50 to me.

Yes. Fuck the F40, it's a great car, with lots of performance, but I'd much rather the F50.

I had posters of the 959, countach and f40 on my wall as a kid, but I'd still take the inferior F50 over an F40. . . You are not alone. I think it has to do with the noise. I love that noise.

Call me a hipster but I was a huge F40 fanboy and was my number one favourite, then fell out of favour with it over the years when I got more online and discovered it just everywhere in everyone's top etc. Pretty lame on my part huh! So now looking at this picture I am inclined toward the F50...

I respect you Jake. But you're wrong. :) Although I like the F50 more than most. Perhaps it was years of using it on Need for Speed and other games back in the day but I always thought it was pretty awesome.

When I finally got Project Gotham Racing, I always preferred the F50 between the two. The F40 to me still had that sharp-angled look that was on almost every 70s supercar and it just wasn't for me.

Of course I was in HS about the time the Enzo came out, so I'd take the Enzo over the other two. Loved its styling.
