I wrapped up my auction tour at the RM Auction in downtown Monterey. This auction was more exclusive and high end than the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
More $kaybait! Fly yellow with the stripe delete. Also, it was practically brand new; the seats were still wrapped in plastic.

This is a GT40 Roadster Prototype. Only a handful were built, only this one remains. Estimated to go between $8-$10 million. Holy crap.
Another crown jewel of the auction: a 1948 Tucker Torpeo. I know to say it was "ahead of it's time" is sort of cliche, but this doesn't strike me as a 1948!

definitely more upscale than Mecum and Russo & Steele, but surprisingly not snooty! The staff and security personnel we interacted with were all very kind and helpful. One of the security guards even hopped on the radio to help me find where the Tucker was.

I did, which makes me happy because it's more rare than the Stratos. But what ludicrous car, that Vector! The back is the wildest design element in my eyes, it's just a huge red brick. You can hardly tell where the taillights end and the body begins, it hardly seems legal
