The actuator for my tailgate went bad. Finding a replacement online is next to impossible. I need one. Cheaply, and quickly.

Junkyard? Try Kenny U Pull.

A good local possibility.

I found this. http://www.autotoys.com/x/product.php?…
Man you're right...it's all discontinued! And paying 300$ at the dealership for the handle and the actuator would be ridiculous!

car-part.com maybe? Crap-ton of parts yards, across the US, used but cheap, and Fed-Ex-able.

Might have to pull the mechanism from a 2nd gen. There was a recall for this issue, and I have to check with a dealer, because the service site is showing nothing.

They say it's quite different tho.

They also got yards in Canada, sweet.

Yup, it is. It might be the best option though, maybe it's what the recall was supposed to be. The actuator is from the factory.

Nice! That's a new feature. Makes sense. If a user in, say, VT, wanted a part, Quebec or Ontario are way closer than AZ or CA. Good luck!
