As many of you know, I am a Volvo Master Tech/Parts Master, ASE Master with L1. I was reading some things about the Polestar and taking those dumb dealer tests. It mentioned something about a much stronger front "tie-blade" and bushing. WTF is a tie blade? Volvo is infamous for calling components 100% opposite of what is a normal. Anybody have a clue what a tie-blade is in the front suspension area? Euro Oppos?

On my Magnum, the Tie Bar is an alternate name for the radiator supports. There's an Upper and Lower tie bar, but completely unrelated to suspension.
Is it maybe talking about a tension strut/arm?

i'm leaning towards that but the word "blade" is throwing me off. Also, a tie rod doesn't really have a bushing. It has a ball joint. The sentence has it as tie-blade and bushing. Later talking about the tie-blade bushing alone

Struts and arm have bushings yes. It's the word blade that is confusing. Tie-bar? that is odd also lol

Volvo called that component a Stay Arm in all I could find. This was from the R-Design info back in the day. So confused. That's for helping me bounce ideas though :]

Euro car companies need to hire translators who know about cars. Mercedes does crap like this all the time. The parts catalog calls the oil separator on m111's a shock absorber. Wish I could help.

Mercedes especially but Volvo is super crazy. The instructions at Lexus were funny. They were so literal lol. "Vert strong, tighten bolt to 40 nw/mt. The with all your detail, inspect the gaps" lol
