A family friend has a "Ran When Parked" 1969 302 mustang convertible. I don't know the condition, but I do know it's been garaged for a decade. I'm gonna go see it at some point (hopefully soon). She's gonna sell it and she wants me to draw it before she does.

It will be one of none. Ford did not build a 1969 Boss 302 Vert.

well she says it has a 302. She may be wrong though. Still it's gotta be a cool barn find

Just an FYI — Ford never made any BOSS 302 convertibles, they were all Fastbacks. Not that someone couldn't make a convertible into a Boss style tribute.

Could be a 302 Vert. Still good.

I don't doubt that it's a convertible with a 302, but yeah, it's not a Boss. The 302 was the base small block V8 in 1969.

That could very well be the case. With that said, however, I've never seen a convertible, sunroof, or skyroof conversion on an American muscle car of that era that was not a total butcher job.

I've seen it, but it was something that had usually been done after an accident or a rollover, so they really didn't have too much to lost when they started.
