Anybody who skis is familiar with the end of the year party's on the hills that include pond skimming. Turns out !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! wanted in on the action during a Red Bull Air Race, skipping across the Detroit River with his MXS-R. He was able to recover and land the airplane safely at the airfield, but it was too damaged to participate in the race. I can't find info for the MXS-R, but here is some for the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Dat G rating of +/-14G.

Wow. That was close. That could have been some serious cartwheel action.
I'm thinking of taking my son to the air races in Dallas next month. No water there, though. Not much water anywhere in Texas these days.

Isn't this the incident that was a big reason why the Red Bull Air Race went on a few years hiatus, for safety reasons?

I found the crash I was thinking of. Same thing that happens to Hall in your video happens to this guy, except this guy doesn't save it.
