I never realized how poorly the Mark IV sold in the US; its best sales year was in 1994 with 3488 units sold.

It was a bad time for Toyota. The 300ZX absolutely crushed it, 10000 vs the Z's nearly 60,000 sales.
But, like a zombie, the supra has come back to win the appreciation wars, since they made so many damn Z32s that it won't spike in price yet.

Actually, they sold more like 90k Z32s. And because of that, Z32 drivers get pissy that their cars aren't worth Supra money
