I know you like your big cats, Jaguar and so on, but isn't it time you tried... the Reliant Kitten?
Meeeeow.

I have actually been keeping half an eye on the Kitten market, because I'd like to get one at some point. I'd like to modify it a bit, make it a bit quicker and with better handling, but fortunately that (unlike almost everything else) doesn't drive the insurance through the roof.
The estates are boxy enough to be really practical for such a small car, too.

Sounds like it would make a fun little project! Didn't know there was an estate, though it suits those slot mags nicely.

Technically, it's a shooting-brake, but the difference between it and the saloon is pretty minor - they just squared the back end off and opened up the luggage space.
I think it'd be fun - only weighs 1100lbs stock, and originally made <40 bhp. You can increase power with a 1.5l n/a diesel :)

Reliant used to make their own little engine which was based on one from the Austin 7.

For real? That's pretty interesting. There's an Austin 7 lives in my town and it's adorable.

Actually now that I check Wikipedia it's more correct to say that the engine was influenced by the Austin one that they used before.
